Civil Service Examination Details

Notification (Tentative) :

•       Notification of Examination - Nov/Dec of Previous Year
•       Conduct of Exam                   - May

 Age Limits: 

•        21 - 30 years as on 1st august of the Year of Examination and certain Categories of persons as specified in the commisions notice as Published in Employment news/Rozgar samachar are Eligible for Age Relaxation.

Educational Qualification:

•         Degree of a Rocognised University or Equivalent
•         Candidate's who are doing their final year can apply with the Proof of Passing the Qualification along with the Application form.

Stages:

     there are 3 stages to clear the Civil Service Examination. they are

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Interview

the following Details about the above three exams Individually.

preliminary Examination:

1) General Studies Paper - I   ------- 200 marks.

2) GEneral Studies paper - II  ------- 200 marks.

note: the Questions Papers are set in english and Hindi.

Main Examination : 

paper I                     -----------    300 marks

paper II                    -----------   300 marks

paper III                    ----------    200 marks

Paper IV & V                -------     600 marks

Paper VI, VII, VIII & IX -------   1200 marks

Total Marks for
Written Examination -------- 2000 marks

[note: 

Paper I - anyone of the Indian Language from our 18 languages.

paper II - English

paper III - Essay

Paper Iv & V - General Studies (300 marks for each paper)

Paper VI, VII, VIII & IX - Any two Subjects (each having 2 papers) from the prescribed optional subjects. ]

Interview : 

Interview Test  -----  300 marks.
